The Conquerors Faith-Based Dorm Program
Beginning in 2001 as a pilot program, The Conquerors is now the only state approved faith-based dormitory for juvenile offenders. The program is secured through a memorandum of understanding between FBTM and the Texas Youth Commission at Gainesville State School. Youth who voluntarily enter the program are provided a customized, faith-based character development program consisting of daily Bible study lessons, weekly visits by program mentors and guest speakers, monthly talent shows and program completion events including certificates and celebration. If you are interested in becoming a facilitator, click here.

Volunteer Mentor Program
Volunteers have the opportunity to serve in a variety of capacities – as daily program facilitators, guest speakers, correspondence partners and mentors. FBTM volunteers who choose to become facilitators and one-on-one mentors in The Conquerors program must be badged by the Texas Youth Commission prior to being matched with incarcerated students. Women and men are always needed – and much appreciated – as correspondence partners in our GodMom and GodPop program. Even if you only have a few minutes a week to jot a note of encouragement, our students need you! Click here for an application.

Transition & Aftercare Programs
Students transitioning out of correctional facilities back into home communities need support and encouragement. Beginning 6 months from the day of release, we work with the facility to:
Match mentors with students
Train home churches to reach out to and serve ex-offenders
Supply referrals to area social service agencies as needed to help the students stay on track.
